Easy Access Trails

Easy access trails are a selection of walks specifically selected to ensure that everyone can experience the wonderful north Devon landscape. Routes are colour coded so that you can choose a walk suited to your ability.

Green - Flat level surafce, gradient less than 1 in 12. Benches on route. Gates wheelchair accessible

Brown - Varying gradients, minimum width 1m. Natural surface, gates wheelchair accessible.

Fremington Quay to Anchor Wood, 2.1 miles (3.4km) - Green

Westward Ho! to Cornborough, 0.9 miles (1.4km) - Green

Georgeham to Putsborough, 1.4 miles (2.2km) - Brown

Hartland and Pattard Wood, 1.3 miles (2.1km) - Brown

Due to the recent wet and windy weather, there are large amounts of blown debris - sticks, branches etc - along the Trail between Braunton and Meeth. There are also areas of standing surface water.

Users should take particular care at this time.
