The Biosphere's Agricultural Diffuse Pollution Project (ADPP) is underway! The project offers free one to one farm advice and grant aid for implementing measures to reduce diffuse pollution but applicants need to apply soon so that woks can be completed before the end of March
The ADPP focuses on three sub-catchments of the River Torridge; the Waldon, Whiteleigh Water and Pulworthy Brook, with the aim of reducing pollution from agricultural sources; namely pesticides, fertilisers, manure and soil.
This project is funded by the Environment Agency and managed by the North Devon Biosphere. For more information, please contact Izzy Moser on 01271 388537.
