UNESCO World Biosphere Reserve
​Co-ordinator ​

Responsible for developing the UNESCO International Biosphere Reserve.  He is our favourite boffin and all round good guy.

Gillian Wright

Administrator

Gillian supports the Biosphere project teams whilst also being responsible for office management, newsletter production, website updates and data management.

Tracey Sinclair

operations manager

Tracey is responsible for managing the project teams, claims and procedures.

Ed Jenner

FINANCE MANAGER

​​Ed looks after the accounting and financial matters of the foundation and assists with the DEFRA test and trials work.
​

Sarah Jordan

NATURE TOURISM OFFICER / BIOSPHERE BUSINESS PARTNER COORDINATOR

Sarah supports tourism businesses across our biosphere by helping them to promote the multitude of natural highlights and adventure activities in our area. 
She also coordinates our Eco-Accreditation Scheme - Biosphere Business Partners.

Jack Woolfenden

TAW VALLEY & LITTLE DART LANDOWNERS GROUP FACILITATOR

Jack coordinates the Farmers Group, running workshops to support farmers and landowners within the catchment in sharing experience and integrating greater biodiversity and carbon sequestration within their land management practices.

​Tom leads our Biosphere Communities Project, empowering groups and individuals to champion nature's recovery in their local area and offer sustainable solutions to the shared environmental and social challenges faced by communities across the Biosphere.

Dr. Stephan Price

BIOSPHERE COMMUNITIES ADMINISTRATOR

Stephan supports both the Biosphere Communities Project team as well as community groups and delivery partners with the smooth-running of our Biosphere Communities Project.

Sean is part of the Devon Woods team, he provides land management advice, works with landowners to design woodland schemes, and produces woodland creation plans and funding applications.

Nic Kirkham

​DEVON WOODS PROJECT MANAGER

 Providing support and guidance relating to woodland creation.  Passionate about enhancing the countryside and driving forward agroforestry, ecosystem restoration, landscape restoration, natural flood management and traditional rural skills.

Chloe Nunn

Chloe coordinates the marine projects of the Biosphere, which involves working across many stakeholder groups.  She also scopes future marine projects and funding proposals.​ ​

Heading up the commercial side of the North Devon Biosphere, including the Natural Capital Marketplace and the Smart Biosphere, with the aim of ensuring Northern Devon (and rural and coastal communities more generally) participates fully in the next wave of growth.

Selaine Saxby

NCM MANAGER

Heading up the Natural Capital Marketplace, engaging with landowners, developers and corporates to take forward natural capital trades and ensure delivery of environmental outcomes, including Biodiversity Net Gain, carbon markets, and nutrient neutrality.
