We have worked with more than 300 farmers, running workshops and offering confidential advice on reducing diffuse pollution, usually culminating in an in-depth report with costed solutions and possible sources of grant aid.

Landscape Pioneer & ELM Trials

The North Devon UNESCO Biosphere hosted DEFRA's Land Pioneer to test the use of natural capital in determining environmental priorities and agreeing actions to target them. The biosphere is also running a DEFRA ‘Test and Trial’ project to help inform the new Environmental Land Management Scheme. ​

Many people don’t realise that our woodland economy is worth over £16M every year to the area. And our plan is to help stimulate this significantly. ​
